design purposeful, functional, appealing products for themselves and
other users based on design criteria. Whilst children in key stage two

Pupils in the academy
have made some absolutely fantastic designs and models and are
encouraged always to take pride in their individual abilities. The
school holds a Design technology and art exhibition where the children
are able to showcase their hard work to the parents of the school. The
children are able to physically show the step by step methods to making
their products and explain each process. This event is loved by both
adults and children alike and gives the children a chance to show off
their real hard earned work.
